I won

I entered a photo competition organized by my institute for Phd students. Alhamdulillah I won the 'Favourite photo' category judged by the public. I didn't win the category judged by professional judges. But, Alhamdulillah, good enough for me.
The submitted photo was taken during our trip to Pulau Tioman. Actually I borrowed my hubby's DSLR camera while he was scuba diving. The photo was my personal favourite because I was amazed with the kids who were bravely playing with the waves, unattended. Budak laut.Thanks abang for your support and guidance.

Miniatures collection
|
|
I have a collection of miniature perfumes and some travel set skincare products to make life easier for hand-luggage packing (especially only limited volumes of liquid are allowed for outbound flights).
But MINIATURE KICAP?!! I found a set of 3-bottles soy sauce during a quick visit to a 7-eleven outlet at hubby's hometown. Definitely useful and a chic collection ..haha!

Working weekend
|
|
I was working the whole weekend. Lots of samples needed to be processed immediately. I missed two raya open-house organized by the Embassy staff and joint open house by an Ericsson staff + student families... huhu!
I was alone in lab. Despite lots of work, there were steps of centrifugation + incubation = waiting.
Snap some pics in between to kill my boredom.
 
My indoor-lab shoes. It's not Crocs....hehe! Bought at Berjaya Time Square for RM10 only. It's made of light rubber. Very light and comfy, feel like wearing a pair of sponge shoes . The most important thing is, it's water proof - very practical to take wudu' . Love it.
* Orang-orang Stockholm, nanti saya bawak balik stok, jual SEK100!!

I recommend you to watch Episode 4: Tarawih. I love the scene of the game 'baling selipar'. It will remind much of your childhood.
OVERVIEW
Upin & Ipin is an animation series about two 5-year-old twins, Upin and Ipin, telling their first experience fasting for the first time in the month of Ramadhan. It is being told from their perspective in such a way that is simple, comical and hilarious. Their grandmother, Opah and elder sister Ros, will give them advice and guidance as the story goes on. The good values will be easily understood by the children and will give a lasting impression upon them, as it is interwind into the plots and subtle manner. Although the series is tailored during the fasting month, they are also suitable to be shown all year round as it has educational and moral values for children.

Sunday morning walk

I realized I haven't gone out for autumn ('fall' according to hubby ) outing this time round. It seems like most yellow-orange coloured leaves have fallen off the trees. Therefore this morning I decided to take a morning walk to an area which is close to where I live.
Missions:
- take photos
- trim extra fat from thigh & tummy
I felt really good after 5 km walk!

Neck ache
|
|
 
My neck is aching. I was counting E.coli bacteria colonies on numbers of plates - I have to count every single spot on the plate manually. There's no other elegant ways to do it. This is my new small collaboration with the Microbiology Department in Karolinska Hospital.
